I find myself often wondering,
If it’ll all turn out okay.
Living in a square state,
Not seeing my mom everyday.
I know that I will miss her,
And visit all the time,
But the journey to success without her,
Will be a lengthy climb.
All of the faith she has in me.
All of the never-ending trusting,
Has shaped me into who I am today,
Without her I would be nothing.
So thank you mom,
For all of your wisdom and guidance.
Because of you my voice of change,
Will never be silenced.
